In these last few years of this journey, I have put my trust, my heart and my soul into proudly representing my country, and my love for Australia in my small but most meaningful way.

This was a journey in which I started as fragile, uncertain, scared, vulnerable, lost and very alone.

Yet I had an unshakeable Faith that I was saved to be of help to others.

I can’t recall much of my old life, that has been replaced by this new life.

I still struggle with the very basics, and I need to ask for help, which I’ve learnt is the best and right thing to do.

I’ve learnt to slowly regain my trust and found a new confidence thanks to all the good I have found, conceived, created, gathered and collected on this journey.

In the countless moments and memories in the many places to which across regional Australia I have been to be with & selflessly, our rural communities, over these most blessed, years.

And to all the wonderful support of everyone amongst who I have felt safe and found my Home To Home, that has become like Family to me, in my Family of Farmers, & all the City & Country, Communities, that have joined me and my journey, across Australia.

This Journey of the past 5 plus years and the book which is the first four years (to the time of its sharing) is my way of saying ‘thank you’ to each and every person who has had any positive influence on this extraordinary, deeply personal, completely life-changing and lifesaving journey.

I have and will continue to do my best to live in the best interests of one community and with wellbeing with love to guide me. City with Country. Country with City.

I am deeply grateful to our rural, regional, and remote communities across Australia who I owe my life to.

They brought me ‘home’ to all the communities that I feel most ‘home’ amongst.

I have absolutely no idea what’s next, but I hope to continue to make a difference to the lives of others. Sharing my courage and resilience, with real truths.

And doing the best I can to draw greater connection between our communities: Farmer-Food-Service-Wellbeing-Community. Our dear farmers of Australia and the communities who are intrinsically connected to support them, and all of us. Without them we are nothing.

I honour all those who have positively, genuinely, truthfully and greatly influenced my life. They have the same values as those instilled in me by my parents. I uphold these values with dignity, pride, grace, and integrity.

I am also most grateful to those who have been steadfast in their care for my mental health and wellbeing and who have been my most trusted life-advisers. They have been right beside me to help me look after my best interests.
